Our hot water tank went down this morning and we were at a loss. I called Sargent's plumbing and Andrew Sargent took my call. He had Jeffrey Sargent come to our house in a very short matter of time. Jeffrey installed a new hot water tank and you could tell that he really takes pride in his workmanship. Totally satisfied with the quick response and a job well done. Follow up, I had a slight drain problem from the install but Sargent's plumbing responded immediately and took care of it. Great company, with great service.
Sargents plumbing did a great job for us! They returned our service call immediately on a Sunday and came out to our home the following day at the exact time they said they would. The clogged drain was cleared immediately!!! Sargents plumbing staff is very professional and informative. Great service!!
I had the best experience with Sargent’s Plumbing & Drain I’ve ever had with someone in my home, beyond plumbing only. They came when they said they would. Came back to address concerns and make sure everything was right. Took care of our house and cleaned up after themselves. Andrew provided expertise as a plumber and exceptional customer service. Highly recommended!
Rather than charge for a service call, the owner walked me through how to fix my garbage disposal. Wow! Guess who is now in my contacts should I ever need a plumber again.

Best plumber I've ever used. His attention to detail is amazing. He cares about the job he is doing, no matter the size. Neat, doesn't leave a mess. Very personal service, nothing like the corporate plumbing companies out there.
They did a great job addressing all of our issues and did it within one hour, which saved us a good amount of money.
Sargent Plumbing got me taken care of with same day service. Jeffrey’s attitude was very pleasant and professional. Will be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future.
They were quick to respond on the weekend and very reasonable on pricing. Highly recommend them!
Very knowledgeable. Arrived within 30 minutes after speaking with them.
Super awesome company! They were fast and super reasonably priced. We had an emergency water pipe bust and they were out same day without charging us an arm and a leg.
Andrew is very professional and fair priced and also makes an effort to connect and care for his customers. I had a pipe bust late one evening and not only did he drop what he was doing to get my home fixed up, he also gave me a more than a reasonable charge (didn’t hit me with a hefty emergency bill). I highly recommend Sargents plumbing for anything you need.
This is the best plumbing company i've ever used and I will be calling them for all of my future plumbing needs. Very professional, fairly priced, and great work. Highly recommend.
Did the job the same day the problem happened. Jeffrey did a great job fixing the problem. If you're looking for a reliable service, I highly recommend them.
Andrew is the best extremely knowledgeable and very helpful . I highly recommend !
Above and beyond on customer service! Fair quotes! Would recommend to anyone!
Bought a house a few months back that had plumbing issues we didn’t know where there. In a panic I searched the web for reputable companies and Sargent’s Plumbing and Drain came out within 30 mins, gave me a free quote and assured they would have it brand new. I can wholeheartedly endorse this amazing company led by a very respectable and knowledgeable young man. If you have ANY plumbing concerns, Sargents should be your first and only call!
We’ve used Sargent’s Plumbing twice and both times they were awesome! The first time was last Christmas Eve afternoon. Our half bath toilet was leaking. They were able to schedule us that day. Hayden arrived on time, assessed the situation, fixed it quickly and didn’t leave a mess. Just recently, the same toilet developed another problem. Called Sargent’s. Jeffrey arrived a little early (not a problem), listened to my concerns and made some adjustments hoping to correct the problem. Unfortunately, it didn’t. He told me it might not; that the toilet should be replaced. Doing that in a couple of days. Quoted a reasonable price for this replacement. He and Andrew have been very patient in answering my questions. Highly recommend!
We have had issues with our sewer backing up into the house for a long time. I was worried when I first called because Sargent’s charges by the hour but wait.. They helped unclog the drain so fast it will make your head spin! Super nice, honest, and much more than fair to say the least. Use Sargent’s once and you won’t let anyone else help with your plumbing. Our issue was a little flap that broke off to keep sewage from back flowing into the home. (Ironic isn’t it that this is exactly what this valve caused several times?!). We couldn’t be happier!
Jeffery was a quick and efficient plumber. He fixed the problem and he did a great job. He has a friendly personality and a hard worker. They get the job done right the first time!
I had a sudden pipe leak from old copper pipes on a weekend. I found Sargents and they came out right away and started working on a fix. They lined up a restoration company that was on the job immediately with machines to dehumidify. I ended up having them re pipe my house and they worked on a Sunday until it was finished. I also had them install a new water heater. Everything was done promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend
They were prompt and very informative. I am female and was never spoken down to (asi have experienced with others). Friendly. I highly recommend
Had a wonderful experience with Sargent's Plumbing! Andrew was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent communication throughout the whole project! Great pricing and got us back up and running from our gas leak issue very quickly! Will be using them again in the future!

Hydro Jetting Service in Broken Arrow, OK
Jetting service, or hydro jetting, is the most powerful drain cleaning method available. It uses a specialized machine that pressurizes water to an extremely high level. This water is sent through a high strength hose and out a specialized nozzle. The nozzle has forward facing jets to break up a clog and rear facing jets. These rear jets blast the pipe walls and pull the hose deep into the drain. This process scours the entire inner surface of the pipe. It removes 100% of the grease, sludge, and scale buildup. It essentially restores the pipe to its original diameter.
The difference between jetting and snaking is significant. A traditional drain snake, or auger, is a good tool for simple clogs. It works by punching a hole through the obstruction to restore flow. However, it does not clean the pipe walls. It leaves behind all the grease and sludge buildup that caused the clog in the first place. This is why clogs often return quickly after snaking. Jetting, in contrast, is a cleaning service. It scours the pipe clean, flushing all debris out of your system. This makes it a much more permanent and effective solution.
Our jetting process is thorough and professional. We almost always begin with a sewer camera inspection. This allows us to see the cause of the clog and, more importantly, check the condition of your pipe. We need to ensure the pipe is not broken or collapsed before using high pressure water. Once we confirm the line is intact, we insert the jetting hose through a cleanout. The high pressure water propels the hose down the line, blasting through the clog. We then pull the hose back slowly, and the rear facing jets scour the pipe walls clean. We flush the entire system.
Hydro jetting can remove blockages that no other tool can. It is especially effective on severe grease clogs. The pressurized water emulsifies and flushes away years of caked on grease. It also pulverizes and washes away invasive tree roots that have entered the pipe. Other common blockages like soap scum, hard water scale, and sludge are no match for the jetter. It is the only true solution for restoring flow in a heavily compromised line. A snake may get through a root ball, but jetting will cut the roots out and flush them away.
The benefits of jetting are clear. The primary benefit is that it provides a long lasting solution. By cleaning the entire pipe, it eliminates the buildup that causes recurring clogs. This saves you money and stress in the long run. Jetting is also environmentally friendly, as it uses only water. There are no harsh chemicals that can damage your pipes or the environment. It is safe for all common pipe materials, including PVC, cast iron, and clay, as long as the pipe is in good condition. It also improves the overall health of your plumbing system by removing all restrictions.
You should consider jetting service if you experience several key symptoms. The most obvious is recurring clogs in the same drain. If you are snaking your sewer line every six months, you have a buildup problem that only jetting can solve. Widespread slow drains throughout your entire house are another sign. This indicates a blockage in your main sewer line. Foul odors coming from your drains are also a symptom of buildup. Finally, if you are experiencing sewer backups, jetting is the best solution after the line is cleared. Many homeowners also choose preventative jetting to maintain their pipes.

What Makes a Great Hydro Jetting Service
A great jetting service begins with a sewer camera inspection. This step is crucial to identify the problem and ensure the pipe is not broken. A great plumber selects the correct nozzle for the type of blockage, such as a root cutter or a grease blaster. They use a professional grade jetter with the right pressure; too much can damage pipes. The process should be thorough, cleaning the entire diameter of the pipe. The plumber confirms the clog is gone with a post service camera inspection. They work cleanly, managing the water and debris. The service provides a long term solution.
Most Common Hydro Jetting Service Questions
High pressure water jetting is the ultimate solution for drain cleaning. Many homeowners are unfamiliar with the process and its benefits. Here are the most common questions we answer about our jetting services in Broken Arrow.
Yes, hydro jetting is extremely safe for all common pipe materials, including PVC, cast iron, and modern lined pipes. This is true as long as the pipes are in good condition. The water pressure is high, but it is directed at the buildup inside the pipe, not at the pipe itself. The force scours away soft deposits like grease and roots without harming the pipe walls. It is a chemical free process, so there is no risk of corrosion that harsh drain cleaners can cause.
The only time jetting is not safe is if the pipe is already broken, collapsed, or has severe cracks. Using high pressure water in a compromised pipe could make the problem worse. This is precisely why we almost always perform a sewer camera inspection first. The camera allows our licensed plumber to see the condition of your pipe. If we see major structural damage, we will not proceed with jetting.
Our technicians are highly trained to use the equipment correctly. We can adjust the pressure on our machines to match the pipe’s material and condition. This ensures we clean your pipes effectively without causing any damage. Sargent’s Plumbing & Drain prioritizes the health of your plumbing system. We will always choose the safest and most effective method for your specific situation.
The difference is best described as cleaning versus clearing. A drain snake, or auger, is a long metal cable that is pushed down the drain. It works by spinning and breaking up a clog, or by hooking onto it so it can be pulled out. It is very effective at punching a hole in an obstruction. This action restores the flow of water. However, it does not clean the walls of the pipe. All the grease, sludge, and scale that caused the clog remain.
This leftover buildup means the clog will almost certainly return. The new hole will quickly fill with new debris. Hydro jetting, on the other hand, is a cleaning service. The high pressure nozzle scours the entire 360 degree surface of the pipe. It blasts away all the buildup, from grease and soap scum to scale and small roots. It flushes the debris completely out of your plumbing system.
Jetting restores the pipe to its full, original diameter. A snake just pokes a hole in the blockage. While snaking is a good solution for a simple, isolated clog, jetting is the only solution for recurring clogs. It is a long term fix, not a temporary patch. Our team can recommend the right service for your specific problem.
Recurring clogs are one of the most frustrating plumbing problems. If you have the same drain backing up every few months, it is a clear sign of a deeper issue. The most common cause is a severe buildup of grease, soap scum, and sludge. This happens over many years. A drain snake will punch a hole in this sludge, but the buildup remains. New waste quickly gets caught on the remaining gunk, and the clog comes right back.
Another common cause of recurring clogs is invasive tree roots. Tree roots are naturally attracted to the water and nutrients in your sewer line. They can infiltrate the pipe through tiny cracks or joints. Once inside, they grow into a dense root ball. A snake might cut a small hole through the roots, but the roots are still there. They will simply grow back, and the clog will return.
The only way to stop this cycle is to eliminate the underlying problem. Hydro jetting is the definitive solution. It will blast away the entire layer of grease and sludge. It will also use specialized root cutting nozzles to chop up and flush away the entire root ball. This restores the pipe to a clean, clear state. This is why we back our jetting services with long term warranties.
For most homeowners in Broken Arrow, jetting is not a regular maintenance item. It is a restorative service used to solve a major problem. You typically get your lines jetted once to remove years of buildup. After a proper jetting service, your lines should remain clear for many years, as long as you are mindful of what goes down the drain. If you have had recurring clogs, one jetting service can break that cycle for good.
The exception is for homes with chronic, unavoidable problems. If you have old pipes that are prone to tree root intrusion, you may need a preventative plan. Some homeowners with persistent root problems choose to have their lines jetted every 18 to 24 months. This preventative measure is still far less disruptive and expensive than dealing with a full sewer backup.
For businesses, especially restaurants, preventative jetting is essential. Commercial kitchens produce a massive amount of grease, which must be managed. We offer preventative maintenance plans for businesses to keep their drains flowing. For your home, however, think of jetting as a powerful solution to a major problem. Our team can advise you on the best frequency, if any, for your specific situation.
Yes, hydro jetting is extremely effective at removing tree roots. In fact, it is often the best solution for this problem. We use specialized jetting nozzles designed specifically for roots. These nozzles have forward facing, rotating jets that act like a saw. They spin at high speed and cut the roots into small pieces. The powerful rear facing jets then blast the root debris and flush it completely out of the pipe.
A traditional drain snake can get tangled in roots. It may break off a few, but it often leaves the main root ball intact. The roots will simply grow back quickly. Jetting, by contrast, removes the entire obstruction. It clears the roots from the joints they entered. This provides a much longer lasting solution. It is the most thorough way to clear a root infested line.
After jetting, we will always follow up with a camera inspection. This allows us to show you that the roots are completely gone. The camera will also reveal the point of entry. We can then discuss long term repair options, such as trenchless pipe repair, if needed. But as a cleaning solution, jetting is the best way to handle roots.
A persistent, foul odor coming from your drains is a common sign of a serious blockage. This smell is not usually sewer gas. That is often blocked by the P trap under your sink. Instead, the smell is from decaying organic waste. Years of food particles, grease, and hair get trapped in a thick layer of sludge on your pipe walls. This gunk begins to rot, releasing a foul, swampy odor that comes up through your drains.
You may notice the smell is worse after you run water. This is because the water stirs up the decaying deposits. You cannot clean this buildup with chemical drain cleaners; they are ineffective and dangerous. You also cannot reach it by cleaning your sink or P trap. The problem is deep inside your drainage system.
Hydro jetting is the perfect solution for this problem. The high pressure water scours away the entire layer of odor causing bacteria and sludge. It flushes the decaying material completely out of your system. After a professional jetting service, your drains will be as clean as the day they were installed. This will completely eliminate the source of the foul odor.
Yes, at Sargent’s Plumbing & Drain, we believe a camera inspection is a critical first step. We almost always perform a sewer camera inspection before we begin jetting. There are two primary reasons for this. First, we need to diagnose the problem. The camera shows us exactly what we are dealing with, whether it is grease, roots, or a foreign object. This allows us to select the right nozzle for the job.
The second reason is even more important: safety. The camera allows us to verify the structural integrity of your pipe. Hydro jetting is safe for healthy pipes, but it can damage pipes that are already broken, collapsed, or have large holes. If we see a major structural defect, we will not jet the line. We will instead discuss repair options with you.
This camera first approach protects your property. It ensures we are using the right tool for the job and not causing new problems. Any plumber who wants to jet your lines without first looking with a camera is taking an unnecessary risk. We operate with honesty and integrity, and that starts with a proper diagnosis.
The cost of a jetting service can vary. It is typically more expensive than a simple drain snaking service. This is because it is a far more comprehensive solution. The equipment is also much more advanced and expensive. The final cost will depend on factors like the length of the sewer line we need to clean. It also depends on the accessibility of the sewer cleanout.
A simple jetting job on a kitchen line will cost less than a full main line sewer jetting. The severity of the clog can also play a role. A line packed with dense tree roots may take more time to clear than a line with heavy grease. Sargent’s Plumbing & Drain provides free in person estimates for our services. This allows us to assess the situation properly.
We will provide a straightforward quote with no hidden fees. We also offer 10% discounts for veterans, teachers, and seniors. Remember that we never charge extra for homeowner emergency or weekend calls. While jetting has a higher upfront cost than snaking, it saves you money in the long run. It eliminates the need for repeated service calls for the same recurring clog.
