Our hot water tank went down this morning and we were at a loss. I called Sargent's plumbing and Andrew Sargent took my call. He had Jeffrey Sargent come to our house in a very short matter of time. Jeffrey installed a new hot water tank and you could tell that he really takes pride in his workmanship. Totally satisfied with the quick response and a job well done. Follow up, I had a slight drain problem from the install but Sargent's plumbing responded immediately and took care of it. Great company, with great service.

We’ve used Sargent’s Plumbing twice and both times they were awesome! The first time was last Christmas Eve afternoon. Our half bath toilet was leaking. They were able to schedule us that day. Hayden arrived on time, assessed the situation, fixed it quickly and didn’t leave a mess. Just recently, the same toilet developed another problem. Called Sargent’s. Jeffrey arrived a little early (not a problem), listened to my concerns and made some adjustments hoping to correct the problem. Unfortunately, it didn’t. He told me it might not; that the toilet should be replaced. Doing that in a couple of days. Quoted a reasonable price for this replacement. He and Andrew have been very patient in answering my questions. Highly recommend!

We have had issues with our sewer backing up into the house for a long time. I was worried when I first called because Sargent’s charges by the hour but wait.. They helped unclog the drain so fast it will make your head spin! Super nice, honest, and much more than fair to say the least. Use Sargent’s once and you won’t let anyone else help with your plumbing. Our issue was a little flap that broke off to keep sewage from back flowing into the home. (Ironic isn’t it that this is exactly what this valve caused several times?!). We couldn’t be happier!

Trenchless Pipe Repair in Broken Arrow, OK

Trenchless pipe repair is a revolutionary way to fix a broken sewer line. In the past, the only solution was to dig a massive trench. We would have to dig up your entire yard, from your house to the street. This destroyed your landscaping, your driveway, and your patio. Trenchless technology avoids this. It is a no dig solution. We can repair your pipe from the inside out. This leaves your yard almost completely untouched. It is a faster, cleaner, and more advanced method. It is the modern solution to a broken sewer line.

We offer two main types of trenchless repair. The first is called Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP), or pipe lining. This method is perfect for pipes that are cracked or full of roots. We start by jetting your old pipe clean. Then, we insert a flexible, fabric liner. This liner is completely saturated with a special, two part epoxy resin. We push or pull this liner into place. Once it is in, we inflate a bladder inside of it. This presses the liner against the wall of your old pipe. We let the resin cure for several hours. It hardens into a brand new, solid, seamless pipe.

The new pipe that CIPP creates is extremely durable. It is a structural pipe, not just a patch. It is as strong, or stronger, than a new PVC pipe. Because it is seamless, it is 100% root proof. There are no joints for roots to get into. This new liner is smooth, which improves flow. It is also resistant to corrosion. This new pipe has a life expectancy of 50 years or more. We can often perform this entire process through a single, existing cleanout. This means we may not have to dig at all. It is a true no dig repair.

The second trenchless method is called pipe bursting. We use this method when the old pipe is too damaged to be lined. If your old clay pipe is completely collapsed or has large, offset sections, this is the solution. We dig two small access holes, one at your house and one at the street. We do not dig a trench. We then pull a heavy steel cable through your old, broken pipe. We attach a bursting head to this cable. Behind the head, we attach a brand new, flexible, high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe.

We use a powerful hydraulic machine to pull the cable. This pull drags the bursting head through your old pipe. The head is cone shaped. It shatters, or bursts, your old pipe. It pushes the fragments of the old pipe out into the soil. The brand new HDPE pipe is pulled directly behind it. This new pipe takes the exact place of the old one. This method gives you a brand new, seamless, 50 year pipe. It is the only trenchless method that can fix a collapsed line. It is a major repair that saves your entire yard.

The benefits of trenchless repair are enormous. The most obvious benefit is that it saves your property. You do not have to pay thousands of dollars to replace your driveway. You do not have to cut down your 50 year old oak tree. Your beautiful patio and landscaping are safe. This also saves you a lot of money. The cost of a trenchless repair is often less than a traditional repair. This is because you are not paying for the massive excavation and restoration. The process is also much faster. We can often complete a trenchless repair in a single day. A traditional repair can take a week.

Not every pipe is a candidate for trenchless repair. This is why a camera inspection is the critical first step. Our licensed plumber must run a camera through your line. We must see the problem. If you have a simple crack, lining is perfect. If your pipe is collapsed, bursting is the answer. If your pipe has a severe belly, or sag, trenchless may not work. A belly must be fixed by digging. We are a locally owned company built on honesty. We will show you the camera footage. We will recommend the right solution, not the most expensive one.

In addition to Trenchless Pipe Repair, we offer a full range of plumbing services for homes and businesses. Below is our services list offered by our plumbers:

What Makes a Great Trenchless Pipe Repair Service

A great trenchless pipe repair service starts with an honest diagnosis. The company must be an expert in both trenchless and traditional methods. This ensures they recommend the right fix. They must be certified and insured for these advanced techniques. The crew must be meticulous. They must properly clean the old pipe before lining it. They must use high quality, approved resins and liners. They must be experts at operating the bursting equipment. The service is clean, fast, and backed by a long term, transferable warranty.

Most Common Trenchless Pipe Repair Questions

Trenchless repair is a modern solution that many homeowners are excited about. It is normal to have questions about how it works and if it is the right choice. Here are the most common questions we answer in Broken Arrow.

We repair pipes without digging by using the old pipe as a host. We are essentially building a new pipe right inside the old one. The most common method is CIPP, or pipe lining. Think of it like building a ship in a bottle. We start by cleaning your old pipe. We use a hydro jetter to blast away all the roots and grease. We then insert a soft, flexible tube that is soaked in epoxy.

We position this tube, or liner, to cover the damaged area. We then inflate a bladder inside it. This presses the wet resin liner against the inside of your old pipe. We hold this pressure for several hours. The resin cures and hardens. It becomes a rock solid, seamless, structural pipe. When we deflate and remove the bladder, you are left with a new, STrouble free pipe. This new pipe has a 50 year life.

For a collapsed pipe, we use pipe bursting. This does require two small holes. We pull a new, flexible pipe through the old one. A bursting head shatters the old pipe. The new pipe takes its place. Both methods save your yard from a destructive trench.

Yes, in many ways, it is even better. A new pipe liner (CIPP) is a structural, seamless pipe. It is just as strong as a new PVC pipe. Its main advantage is that it is seamless. A traditional repair uses PVC pipe and couplings. These joints are a potential failure point. Roots can, over decades, find their way into these joints. A trenchless liner has no joints. It is one continuous pipe, making it 100% root proof.

A pipe bursting replacement gives you a brand new, HDPE pipe. This material is also seamless and root proof. It is considered a 50 to 100 year pipe. The quality of a trenchless repair is exceptional. The new pipe is resistant to corrosion, cracks, and roots.

The technology is proven. It has been used for decades by municipalities. They use it to repair massive city sewer mains. We use the same technology for your home. It is a long term, permanent solution. It is not a temporary patch. We back our trenchless repairs with long term warranties.

A trenchless pipe repair is a permanent solution. It is not a temporary fix. Both CIPP lining and pipe bursting are designed to last for 50 years or more. This is just as long, or even longer, than a traditional pipe replacement. The materials we use are incredibly durable. The CIPP liner is a two part epoxy resin. It hardens into a material that is stronger than PVC. It is impervious to roots and corrosion.

The HDPE pipe used in pipe bursting is also a 50+ year material. This flexible pipe is so durable, it is used in high pressure gas lines. It is also seamless. This eliminates the joints, which are the weakest part of a traditional pipe system.

When you invest in a trenchless repair, you are solving the problem for good. It is a one time fix. This is why it is such a great value. You get a 50 year solution. You also get to save your yard, driveway, and trees. We provide a long term, transferable warranty on our trenchless work.

The cost of a trenchless repair depends on the project. The final price is based on the length of the pipe we need to repair. It also depends on the diameter of the pipe. A longer, wider pipe will require more materials. The specific method we use also affects the cost. A simple CIPP liner is often less expensive than a full pipe bursting replacement.

When you compare costs, you must look at the total project. On paper, the trenchless repair itself might seem more expensive than a traditional dig repair. However, the traditional repair quote does not include the cost of restoration. You will have to pay a landscaper to fix your yard. You will have to pay a concrete contractor to repour your driveway.

When you add up these hidden restoration costs, the traditional method is often far more expensive. Trenchless repair avoids all these costs. It is one job, one price. It saves you money and a massive headache. We provide free, in person estimates. We will give you a straightforward quote for all your options.

Yes, but we must use a specific trenchless method. Pipe lining or CIPP cannot fix a collapsed pipe. A liner is just a soft, flexible tube. It needs a host pipe to press against. If the pipe is caved in, the liner has no shape to take. It will just inflate into the dirt.

For a collapsed pipe, the solution is pipe bursting. This is the only trenchless method that works for a collapsed line. This method does not rely on the old pipe. It actively destroys and replaces it. The powerful bursting head shatters the old, collapsed clay pipe. It pushes the debris out of the way.

The new, HDPE pipe is pulled directly into the space the old pipe occupied. This gives you a brand new, perfectly round, seamless pipe. It is a full replacement, not just a repair. This method does require two small access pits. It is a fantastic alternative to digging up your entire yard to replace a collapsed line.

Yes, absolutely. This is the most important step of a CIPP, or pipe lining, repair. We cannot line a dirty pipe. The pipe must be perfectly clean. If we try to line a pipe that is full of roots or grease, the resin will not stick. The liner will not bond to the old pipe. The repair will fail.

Before we do any lining, we perform a heavy duty cleaning. We use our hydro jetting service. The jetter uses high pressure water. We use specialized root cutting nozzles. This process scours the pipe walls. It blasts away 100% of the roots, grease, and scale. It restores the pipe to its original diameter.

After jetting, we run the camera through one more time. This is to confirm the pipe is perfectly clean. We also use it to check for any loose fragments. Once we confirm the pipe is ready, we can begin the lining process. This cleaning step is what guarantees our 50 year warranty. Any contractor who skips this step is not a professional.

No, trenchless repair cannot fix a bellied pipe. A belly is a sag or a dip in your sewer line. The pipe itself is not broken. The problem is that the ground underneath it has settled. This causes a low spot in the line. Water and solid waste collect in this low spot. This creates a permanent, recurring clog.

A CIPP liner will not fix this. The liner is flexible. It will just follow the shape of the bellied pipe. You will be left with a new, lined pipe that still has a belly. It will still clog. Pipe bursting also does not fix a belly. The new pipe will just follow the same saggy path as the old one.

A belly is the one problem that must be fixed with traditional excavation. We must dig down to the bellied section. We will cut out the sagging pipe. We will then rebuild the trench bed with new, compacted gravel. We will lay a new section of pipe at the correct, perfect slope. This is the only way to fix a belly.

Yes, a camera inspection is a 100% mandatory first step. It is impossible to give you an honest quote without one. We must see inside your pipe. We must know the exact problem. Are your pipes full of roots? Are they cracked? Are they collapsed? Do you have a belly? The camera is the only way to find out.

The camera inspection dictates the solution. If we see cracks and roots, we will recommend lining. If we see a collapsed pipe, we will recommend bursting. If we see a belly, we will tell you that trenchless is not an option. Any company that will give you a per foot quote over the phone is not being honest.

Sargent’s Plumbing & Drain starts every sewer job with a camera inspection. This is part of our commitment to honesty and hard work. We will show you the footage. We will explain the problem. We will then give you a straightforward quote for the right solution. This is our 5 star service guarantee.
